you know……its really amazing to find people who have stayed with astro since predebut and all the way to this moment…that there are people who loved astro before they were astro and those who were fans before they were called arohas, and counted down to astro’s debut with the boys with every bated breath, to have been there every step of the way. to see how each and every one of the boys grew not just physically but also as a person with every era, and supported them all just the same. its really so wonderful to know that astro has had such fans who’ve been with them since literally the beginning, when they were just iTeen boys who wanted to make their dreams come true; to have loved them and grow with them through all these years and be able to see them now and think ‘holy crap, theyve made it so far.’
i became an aroha a little before their confession era. i wont lie; ive often wished that i knew about astro much, much earlier, just to feel like wow, i was there from the start. pretty stupid, but it does sound lovely, doesnt it. whenever i find people who have been with them since forever, im just so in awe, and maybe even a tiny bit jealous.
but the main point of this post is not to say that arohas who have been here longer are ‘better’ than others. because fact is, it doesnt really matter when you started to support astro; whats great is that you are, in your own way, whether or not you reblog abt them or make fanart or write stuff or not do anything at all. the fact that you support them at all and want to see them succeed is good enough to me.
but i guess what im saying is……….if youre someone who’s been with astro since the beginning, then im awfully grateful for you. im so thankful. thank you for being there for them when approximately 10000++ of us didnt even know who they were. thank you for supporting them all these years, for staying, and even if you arent anymore, thank you for being there when they first started out. astro couldnt have made it this far without arohas ❤️
that one predebut video of seventeen getting ready in the morning and junhui made some toast and literally everyone was like “oh my god? you made this???” and all excited and amazed while eating and. it was just bread. they were all amazed over the fact that one of them could warm up bread on a stove
you know, i love the idea of the met gala in theory… but in practice its really the rihanna show and rightfully so cuz these other celebrities just disappoint, you telling me that you get a delicious, wild theme like CATHOLICISM and your first thought is a sparkly dress or a bland tux????!!?? every time I watch the bachelor I think about how much better it would be if it was with lesbians…..but then I think of how it wouldn’t work because all the women would fall in love with each other and not the bachelorette….and THEN I remember the most obvious flaw in this system, the bachelorette could literally have 30 women professing their love for her and knowing us lesbians she would still be like“I just don’t know if theyactually like me”
